You can go to Milion in Paraná St. or Danzón, or Café San Juan in San telmo, or anywhere in Palermo (like Bar 6) and then go to Congo bar (Palermo), Kika, Rumi or Asia de Cuba in Puerto Madero. The Faena also is fun for week days. Crobar is better on weekends, although sometimes they have special parties.

monamagnetica: Zizek is not a hip hop club but you should check it out, it´s great (wednesdays) Then thrusdays you have Lost the address is Araoz 2424. Don´t go that late (I mean go at 1 am ) cause they only play hip hop till 4

hip-hop is rap music. Jay Z, Kanye West, etc... In the past, Run-DMC, LL Cool J, Ice Cube, etc... Does that help? : )
Nightclubs is the American word, so to speak, for discotechs. R&B would be usually consisted of black singers, like R. Kelly, Alicia Keyes (though she is half-black, she still sings R&B), Akon, etc... Lenny Kravitz is half-black but he sings more pop and rock and roll music. Not that color determines what you do. For instance, Eminem is white and is very good "rapper"/hip-hop artist.
I wouldn't mind even Argentinian hip-hop music. Just wondering. I will go to whatsupbuenosaires.com and look. Any more info?
Ilana123: agree with monomagnetica. I think Lost may be what you are looking for. Then, most clubs here play hip-hop, but it's mixed with house music, etc. So not hip-hop all night.
UncleBoko: Interesting, in 1963/64 when we used to see the Stones, Yardbirds and Downliner Sect at the Crawdaddy and other R & B Clubs in London, R & B music generally meant black artists like Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters etc. It's a shame it has all changed. I thought hip-hop was music where the musicians hopped around the stage!!
Tallchief: There are black rock and roll artists and white rap artists, etc... Lost. What's it like? Entrance fee, crowd (younger? 21-35? rough?), staff, drinks, location, etc...
